Before watching the clip, ask children what they think we can get from plants and note these down. After the clip has played it could provide a stimulus for discussion about what other things we get from plants other than food. This could lead to a sorting activity where children sort items into things we get from plants and things we don’t. The items could be pictures or physical things and range from food to baskets, paper or things like rubber and cotton.
