A typical school day for a primary school student in China. Students usually learn the Chinese language, Literature, Maths, English, and Moral Education. Every Monday morning each primary school has a National flag-raising ceremony and every morning at about ten o'clock students go to the sports ground to do morning exercises. PE and Art are usually in the afternoon timetable. Moral Education lessons are very important for students to learn to be a good citizen.

Could be used when discussing school timetables and different subjects. The teacher could design a timetable then ask the pupils to fill it in and give opinions about school subjects as they watch the clip. It could also be used at the end of the lesson to review all the school subjects learned and to compare a Chinese primary school day with an English primary school day.
