Students could listen to 'The Magic Box' and discuss why the poet has chosen the things he has. Students could also create short stories and illustrations to describe the Magic Box and where it came from. They could create their own lists of experiences, moments and fantasy events to store in the Magic Box and use these as the basis for their own Magic Box poem.
