Students could investigate why it was predominantly women and not men that were protesting at Greenham Common. They could then look at the history of the anti-nuclear movement in Wales and discuss whether a similar protest would be as relevant today. Students could ask their families if they remember the protests and what their attitudes were to the women of Greenham Common at the time. Learners could write a suitable voice-over for the footage featured in the clip, explaining the plight of the Greenham Common protesters.
