A quick guide to the planet Neptune, which is composed mainly of water. It has many moons and the fastest winds in the solar system. They blow up to 2000km per hour.
NOTE: This clip was factually accurate when originally broadcast.
Pupils could use this clip to learn about Neptune's main features. Afterwards, pupils could study the other planets, (using more BBC clips) recording similar and contrasting facts, as well as locating their position in relation to Earth and the Sun. The children could choose to study one planet in detail and convince other pupils of its significance, using persuasive language and impressive scientific facts, as shown in the clip.
