A personalised postage stamp made showing the artist’s face which can then be printed off for fun. The large version of a fun postage stamp is made using card, paint and accessories. An oval space is left in the centre for the artist’s face to peer through. A border, frilly edges, a crown, hair and lettering are added for authenticity. The wearer is then photographed posing with their face inside the stamp design. The photographs are printed off in multiples on a sheet and can be used as fun stamps alongside real ones to send a letter or postcard.
Using the ideas in this clip, children could create a set of class stamps involving everyone in the class. They can then do the same for every teacher in the school. They can create giant stamps for a school display.
