This clip is useful in a starter discussion of nightlife in big cities in modern China. Encourage students to talk about their own interests and relate them with the younger generations in China. Practise key sentences in Chinese: I like, How much per ticket? I want to buy two (three, and so on) tickets.
Put the students in groups (max 3 per group) to act out the ticket buying scene. Lead a guided conversation and choose at least two groups to present their dialogues.
