This clip introduces interesting questions which can be studied further with pupils. In groups students could discuss what the Pennal letter tells us about Owain Glyndŵr and why they believe the rebellion failed. Ask pupils to find out why the Welsh gentry wanted to be regarded as English after the failure of Glyndŵr's rebellion.
