Following an introduction to the concept of recycling, students can investigate waste products created from a variety of economic activities, particularly in urban areas and from domestic use. After considering how the amount of waste can be reduced, students could plan a campaign to reduce domestic waste and waste from primary, secondary and tertiary industries. They could present their findings by using a variety of communication techniques, eg posters, adverts, presentations or illustrated reports.
