A montage of clips on the theme of adaptation and interdependence. Includes images of a leopard, moth, frogs, camel, polar bears, snake, shark, insects, stone plants, sensitive plants and a tortoise. This clip has no narration.
The clip could be used a discussion point into how the different animals have adapted. It can also be used as a starting point for pupils' own investigation into how an animal has adapted to its surroundings. Pupils could compare differences and similarities between the animals in the clip. Pupils could create their own animal using junk modelling and explain how the different features of their animal have adapted to their surroundings. Alternatively they could use paint software to create an electronic version and annotate.
