Starting with an explanation that our skin regenerates constantly using cell division, the process of cell division by mitosis and meiosis is demonstrated. Mitosis produces diploid cells and meiosis produces haploid sex cells. Both processes are described thoroughly and computer graphics are used to show what happens to the chromosomes during this process. The purpose of both processes is explained.
