Ask students to contrast the different attitudes towards the Welsh language by getting them to work in small groups. Some students could brainstorm why Owain is proud of the Welsh language and others could look at why some people are negative about the use of the Welsh language. This may be followed by a class discussion to reflect on these attitudes. Ask students to research and list translations for basic Welsh words and phrases.
