Revision: how to get ahead

Film with GCSE and Nationals revision tips and advice, from exam survivors The Mind Set

Preparation is as important as revising. Here are our top tips for getting ahead.

  • Create or find a tidy environment to work in
  • Condense your notes as you go along. Don’t leave this until the start of revision!
  • Go back over your class notes in the same week then re-visit them after a couple of weeks and then in a month’s time.
  • Try creating flash-cards, either online or written
  • Know which topics you need to revise for each subject
