Quiz: How well do you know Noughts and Crosses?

The ground-breaking, award-winning Noughts and Crosses series, which transformed children’s literature, is soon to grace our screens in a six-part BBC One drama.

The first novel used to be part of the KS3 curriculum in England, presenting an accessible way for young people to discuss racism and civil rights through an alternative universe. In it, black people ("Crosses") are the rulers and white people ("Noughts") are the underclass. A love story blossoms between a pair of childhood friends on either side.
