In this lesson, you are going to look at different methods that you can use to multiply a decimal number by an **integer.** An integer is a whole number.

You will be drawing on your knowledge of multiplying whole numbers as well as multiplying and dividing by powers of 10.

You will explore different ways to find the solution to the same problem so that you can decide which method you find the most efficient!
