The woman using make-up and manicures to empower London’s vulnerable women
Growing up in Iran in the '80s, Roxana couldn’t wear make-up. She - along with other women - were often physically and publicly forced to remove it. But since moving to London, Roxana has embraced being able to wear cosmetics and actually uses the products to help others. She now runs ‘pamper days’ in the capital’s day centres, helping women from vulnerable backgrounds find inner strength and regrow their confidence - one makeover at a time.
