Night Waves - Zadie Smith

Zadie Smith's novel 'White Teeth' saw her hailed as an 'overnight success', something that has overshadowed her subsequent work. In this interview for 'Night Waves', she speaks to Philip Dodd about some of the subjects in her collection of essays, 'Changing My Mind'. Smith ponders her understanding of the concept of being 'English' and her place within English literature, particularly her affection for John Keats, the Bronte sisters and George Eliot.
