Join the British Film Institute as they deliver two Future Film sessions at Ulster University in Belfast.

 

13.30 Directing Your Career

Join director Aidan Largey for an interactive session focussing on how to progress your career.

Aidan will workshop a range of topics during this event including choosing and developing your own projects, working with cast and crew, breaking down a script visually and thematically, writing/directing vs directing, and what agents actually do.

Aidan’s passion for filmmaking and can-do attitude are bound to inspire you to take the next steps in your filmmaking career!

This should be finished around 15.00 so you can have a 30 minute break before:

 

15.30 BFI Future Film short film screening and Q&A

Join some of the most exciting young filmmakers coming out of Northern Ireland at this short film screening and Q&A.

 

Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour the brand new facilities for the BA in Screen Production, a new film and television degree at Ulster University, during the afternoon.
