The Tech Nation Report: A Welsh Perspective — with Gino Brancazio
We're kicking off the Business Development Day with a presentation from Gino Brancazio at Tech Nation. Gino will be giving us an insight into the key findings of the 2018 Tech Nation Report from a Welsh perspective. Among other topics, Gino will connect the dots between the report findings and how South Wales can learn from other digital clusters around the U.K. The Tech Nation Report is a comprehensive guide to the UK's digital tech ecosystem providing a detailed insight into the themes that are essential to the success of the UK's tech entrepreneurs (It is available online here).

More women entrepreneurs are setting up businesses and the NatWest Business Banking team have arranged an inspiring session with talks and workshops aimed particularly at women entrepreneurs. The session is open to men too.

Throughout the day, bookable 1-1 sessions are available with business support experts from the Welsh Government’s Business in Focus , Accelerated Growth Programme, the Creative Industries team and the Development Bank of Wales, along with advisors from Watts Gregory and Grant Thornton.
Entrepreneur Panel Discussion: What Does it Take to Run Your Own Business?
Our afternoon programme kicks off with a panel discussion on all things entrepreneurship, giving you the chance to hear from some of Wales' brightest entrepreneurs about:

- do's and don'ts of scaling your business
- growing and retaining your team
- moving beyond imposter syndrome
