Smartphones offer a simple and flexible way to record and edit audio. Discover how to use iPhones running iOS 9, or other mobiles, to create and edit broadcast-standard sound.

There are some basic rules to getting the best out of the apps most smartphones are supplied with. For example, remember to divert calls before you start to record and avoid talking directly into the microphone because this will distort the sound.
