Bryony has burnt the midnight oil watching all the auditions. She has made her shortlist for each character, but how will the community decide who is right for each role?
If they rely on a youtube vote, Bryony worries that people with popular youtube channels will win easily, so she has to think her way around this problem.

On YouTube, a lot of the 'big' YouTubers get their popularity and following from being featured, fortunately for Ben, he's been featured multiple times and has thus collected thousands upon thousands of subscribers from the exposure on YouTube's front page.
This isn't at all to say he's no good - I'm one of the aforementioned subscribers and I think he's brilliant! But just to clear things up in terms of popularity giving a helping hand in the vote and such :)

Even under unanimous preferences it doesn't work.
"Not knowing whether X is strongly or marginally preferred to Y is the cause of the impossibility (Ng, 1951b)".
So how does this affect you? In very basic terms, those actors with popular channels will have more users available to rank that actor high and others low. Without knowing the intensity of preferences (i.e. 1 prefers Jack to Jill by 10x and 2 prefers Jill to Jack by 20x) your problem is unsolvable!
One thing you might take heart in is that it’s probably fair to say that those with more popular youtube channels are preferred more/ranked more highly by the community anyway and thus the extra votes from popular channels are actually a fair representation - in a sense channel popularity has already done some of the quality selecting for you.
