Wigmore Concert Series 2004
The Hall was practically sold out for the appearance of Benjamin Grosvenor our now 12 year old keyboard winner. With a programme of Scarlatti, Schumann, Takemitsu and Chopin there was certainly something for everyone and he once again showed his amazing connection to the instrument with just the right mixture of impetuosity and poetry. Benjamin was amazed at the dozens of well wishers who went back stage to congratulate him on his fantastic debut. |
