I was in the Royal Navy. A Petty Officer telagraphyist aboard HMS Foresight who was escorting HMS Edinbugh ( the gold ship )when she was sunk. I was at the evacuation of Dunkerque and I also spent time in the North Alantic patrols, the relief of Malta, the invasion of Sicily and Italy and the North Africa campange, land to sea coordination. (ie where do want the shells to drop). GTH Green.
