Story by Jim Hepting, concerning his experiences as a child during the early part of the Blitz, and his evacuation to Cornwall.Followed by his return to Tottenham,North London,just before the war ended.There maybe people around today in the Tottenham area who remember the Hepting family.There were 13 children living at that time,and one that died 6 weeks after birth.Their names are as follows: Myself, James William Hepting, Sidney Robert Hepting, Emily Margaret Hepting, Stanley Victor Hepting, Frank Terence Hepting, Leslie Charles Hepting,Sylvia Gwendoline Hepting, Beryl Rosemary Hepting,
Kenneth Roy Hepting, Raymond Douglas Hepting,
Ronald Edward Hepting, Ann Barbara Hepting,
Bernard Alexander Hepting. Marlene Patricia Hepting: (died in infancy) My mother was Emily Adelaide Hepting, nee Bedford, my father was
Sidney William Charles Hepting.
