I'm interested in the experience of the 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment's experience when they were camped in Quorn, England before D-Day.
My father, William J. Gray of Philadelphia, PA was part of that regiment and wrote a few stories about it.

My family and I visited Quorn in 2004, the 60th anniversary of D-Day and had lunch at the famed Apple Tree Pub. The owners and people at the pub were just as gracious as the people of Quorn my father wrote about.
