BBC writersroom interviews...

Jack Thorne

The end is in the beginning and yet you go on Samuel Beckett

BBC writersroom interviews playwright and television writer Jack Thorne (The Fades, Cast-offs, Skins, This Is England '86).

Jack talks to us about why he's psychologically dependent on writing, his 14 hour writing days and how he overcomes obstacles in his scripts. He tells us about his late eighties EastEnders addiction and why he's nothing like the poet-writing dog from Dogtanion.
