THE NETWORK EUROPE TEAM  |
 Katya Adler - Presenter/ProducerKatya was born in London to German parents and has always planned to live in Italy. Apart from a six month stint in Rome and another in Perugia, though, she's so far managed to spend most of her working life as a journalist in Vienna, Berlin and (briefly) in Paris. She returned to London in September 2000 and has been with Network Europe since then. Katya loves sunshine, snow and sea. She is a self-confessed and happily incurable Europhile.  |
 Michael Steininger - ProducerBorn and raised in East Berlin, Michael worked as a welder and builder before studying English literature at university and system change in the streets of his re-unified hometown. He went on to work as a freelance newspaper reporter in Berlin and in 2000 moved to London. He has been with the BBC World Service since then and joined the Network Europe team in 2002. When he's not producing the programme he plays songs on the guitar to his baby twins and tells them to be good Europeans. |
