The Pulse of Bangladesh

Pulse of Bangladesh polling
Bangladesh Sanglap is the Trust's flagship governance project. The weekly Question Time style programmes give members of the public the opportunity to ask direct questions to politicians, businessmen and civil society figures.

The aim of the project is to create greater understanding and increased quality of debate around key governance issues and their relationship to the development of Bangladesh.

To inform this project, the R&L group conducted a national survey.

The study obtained an understanding of how Bangladeshis perceive themselves, their neighbours and the rest of the world, along with their development priorities and opinions about governance issues.

More than 5000 people from all walks of life, all over Bangladesh, talked about their lives and shared their opinions about: Family, religion, national identity, public life and governance.
