Oana Lungescu



Oana Lungescu Oana Lungescu has been reporting on EU and NATO enlargement from Brussels since January 1997.

Having left her native Romania in 1985, she joined the BBC's Romanian section and went on to cover the painful transition to democracy in Romania and the former Soviet republic of Moldova.


Oana has recently won an Onassis bursary and plans to travel to Chile and Argentina later in the year to look at how societies and individuals survive dictatorship
