Sportsworld is on the World Cup trail...

The final places for the FIFA World Cup in South Africa in 2010 will be decided over the next week and there will be an anxious wait for one of the traditional power-houses of African football - Nigeria. They visit Kenya on Saturday for a crucial World Cup qualifier, while in the same group Tunisia, who are in pole position, travel to Mozambique.

Sportsworld with Russell Fuller from 1400 GMT will have all the latest news from those games and other qualifiers taking place around the globe including the European play-offs featuring France and the Republic of Ireland and Portugal v Bosnia.

We will also hear from key personalities involved in the World Cup in South Africa, the man who has co-ordinated the bid Danny Jordaan and former Leeds United stalwart and the former captain of Bafana Bafana, Lucas Radebe.

There's also the Masters Tennis in Paris, live Rugby Union and Boxing with a preview of Manny Pacquiao's fight against Miguel Cotto.

Then tune in at the new time of 1720 GMT on Saturday for a full reading of the classified Football results by James Alexander Gordon, along with reports and reaction on the top matches.

At 1730 GMT there's half an hour of your views on the BBC World Service football phone-in, Sportsworld Have Your Say. You can call the programme to book your call from 1400 GMT on +44 207 083 73 33 to speak to Russell.
