Carlos talks to Carrie about Cuba and Castro |
Carlos Acosta has made a remarkable journey. He danced his way out of the backstreets of the Cuban capital Havana to become the first black principal dancer with the Royal Ballet in London.
But he is still close to his roots and when he performed his autobiographical show in Cuba three years ago, Fidel Castro came to watch. Last year he fulfilled his dream of bringing his whole family to London to see him dance.
Carrie Gracie talks to Carlos Acosta about his feelings for the Cuba that made him. And asks where his passion for dancing will take him next?
