Now that he is married with a family of his own, the pressure to talk to his own son about his origins has inflamed his curiosity.

So his dream is to go to Nigeria, to follow the clues which hopefully will lead to a reunion with his father.

Also, he has become passionate about reclaiming the other part of his identity. An African among Ukrainians, he journeys to the promised land of Nigeria to pursue his search.

He has a few vague clues and willing helpers. But will he now find himself a Ukrainian among Africans, always condemned to be the odd one out?

Above all, will he succeed in finding his relatives? And if he does succeed in tracking his father down, will he come forward to embrace a long lost son or will he simply refuse to have any contact at all?

Throughout his quest, on his journey from Kiev to Lagos, he records his thoughts and feelings in a daily diary.
