By helping with our research, our Sound Advisers have an extra say in what we do on the radio and on our website.

If you choose to sign-up you'll receive invitations to contribute to our online surveys. We could be trying out new voices, seeking your views on the way we've covered a news story or testing the usefulness of our promotional trailers. It's your chance to help us improve our services and test BBC innovations before they go live to the world.

To take part you will need sound facilities on your computer and around ten minutes of free time. You can contribute to as many or as few surveys as you like and you can resign from the panel at any time.

We will only use your personal information under the terms of the BBC's privacy policy and we promise not to share it with any organisation other than the BBC and our research company MediaScore which is bound by the same terms.
