It compares people’s experience of disability in India, the USA, Uganda and the UK and contrasts it with that of programme presenter Geoff Adams-Spink.

“I’ve been disabled since birth,” says Adams-Spink. “I’m happily married, have two beautiful daughters and a small but comfortable home in south-east England. In short, life has been fairly kind to me, though it hasn’t always been plain sailing.

What interested me was how other disabled people were faring in very different conditions.”
