The BBC's Mike Embley travels to a new emerging consumer society - Botswana - for the last in the series of The Psychology of Consumerism.

Since diamonds were discovered in 1966, and after years of stable government, Botswana has a relatively strong economy which has stabilised employment and created a new breed of consumer.

But whose responsibility is it to teach good spending practices? Is it the banks, the schools or even the Church? And how does the huge HIV problem impact on this growth?
