Health Matters

Can the world afford good health care for all? Who has the power to bring it about?

Komla Dumour of Joy FM in Ghana tries to answer these big questions in two Health Matter specials.

He starts his investigation in Uganda, asking African health experts to take a blank sheet and build a health system that would deliver increased life expectancy for all. How much does this ideal model cost?

Komla then travels to Geneva, home of the World Health Organisation, to ask global health experts what barriers exist that prevent people from accessing health care and what can be done to break these barriers down.
