 Inner Mongolia : Holding back the desert In Beijing, springtime sees great clouds of dust descend on the city. It becomes difficult to breathe, to see and to move about - and experts think it is a serious health hazard.
But the dust storms are the result of an even bigger problem: the loss of the grasslands and livelihoods of the herdspeople of Inner Mongolia.
