Revisiting Chennai

Outlook visits two families in Chennai, India. The families adopted two orphans; children who, when they first came to the families, were believed to be HIV positive. As it turns out, it's good news: neither child has the virus.

One year on from when Outlook first met these families, Paddy Maguire speaks to them about the relief they have experienced knowing that their children are healthy.

However, despite the happiness the families feel, there is still a worry. Suria and Mucha Mary, the children's adoptive mothers, fear that they might lose their children, because in that area a baby who proves to be HIV negative moves into the usual adoption process.

Listen to find out how the situation unfolds.
