Alongside shortwave the BBC South Asia Service broadcasts can be heard on medium wave(AM), FM and the Internet. Programmes are either mixed with the local output of a partner station or are a continous stream on a dedicated frequency.
Programming is also available on digital satellite, free to air, via PAS 10 at 68.5° East, transponder 14, Vertical polarisation (BBC World TV). Any standard DVB receiver should auto-tune the BBC World Service radio channel. Alternatively a local cable operator could be providing the service.
