Professor Gyorgy Bohm
Hungarian born, Dr. Gyorgy Bohm has lived in Brazil since
1947. Specialising in experimental pathology, he founded
the Laboratory of Experimental Air Pollution at Sau Paulo
University in 1975. A report co-produced by the Laboratory,
identified that children living in cities in Mexico, India,

Lori Ann Thrupp
Dr. Lori Ann Thrupp is the Director of Sustainable Agriculture
at the World Resources Institute. She views the worldwide
decline of agricultural biodiversity as the biggest global
threat to food security. Consequently, she has developed
best practice recommendations to promote this diversity.
Dr Thrupp warns, "if [changes] are not undertaken, the
world's food supply will continue to be seriously jeopardized,
and people's suffering from hunger will only worsen."
