Another Earthquake Hits Indonesia
Hundreds of buildings are reported to have collapsed; at least 70 people are known to have died; rescue workers are desperately trying to find survivors who may still be trapped in rubble.
A powerful earthquake has struck the Indonesian island of Sumatra. Hospitals say they are struggling to deal with the number of casualties.
Newshour spoke to, Elvin, an eyewitness in Padang, close to the quake's epicentre.

Indonesia has suffered several major natural disasters over the past few months, quite apart from the devastating tsunami in 2004 when more than 160,000 people were killed.
Marianne Kearney is an Australian journalist who has covered all these natural disasters in Indonesia and she joined Newshour from Aceh. Newshour asked her if the frequency of natural disasters meant Indonesia was experienced in dealing with them?
