Alaeddin Boroujerdi

Iran's Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has said that if the United States attacks Iran, U.S. interests around the world would be harmed.

it has so far refused to do.

Alaeddin Boroujerdi is the leader of the Iranian parliament's national security and foreign relations committee and he is currently in London. Newshour's Robin Lustig put to him the argument made by the British foreign secretary Jack Straw that Iran should not rely on Russia and China vetoing any resolution on sanctions that might come up at the UN Security Council.
