In September 2008 several US financial institutions went into meltdown sending shockwaves across the world's financial markets.

US mortgage lending giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were the first casualties of the credit crisis, followed by Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch and AIG.

Documentary producer Jeremy Skeet and writer Matthew Solon look back to meltdown Monday to explore the emotional truth behind the collapse of investment bank Lehman Brothers.
