Do You Know the UN Convention? |
|
Introductory
Activity - One
|
| |
Explain
the purpose of the UN Convention on the Rights of the
Child; in particular the intention to give every child
the rights it contains. |
|
 |
| |
Point
out that in spite of progress in some areas, many of the
rights described in the convention are violated on a daily
basis across the world. In troubled areas, children often
suffer most. We have a long way to go before every child
is free to enjoy all the rights that properly belong to
childhood. |
