
Over the years there have been many adaptations of the better-known Sherlock Holmes tales
One of Britain's most famous fictional detectives, Sherlock Holmes, is being brought back to life by a new author.
More than 80 years after the death of his creator, the estate of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle has authorised a writer to pen a new full-length novel.
Due to be released in September, the novel will be written by the British writer, Anthony Horowitz.
