Penelope says that being made redundant was an immense relief

Penelope Cooper lost her well-paid job in the insurance industry in the early days of the recession in 2008.

However, for her there has been a real upside to the downturn.

She says losing her job has meant finding her true vocation.

She is now in charge of Girl Guides around Europe.
