North Korea are playing in a World Cup for only the second time; the last time was in England in 1966.

Then, as now, they entered the competition as complete unknowns and total outsiders, but they astounded the football world by beating Italy.

They inspired English film maker Daniel Gordon to make a film about their exploits, entitled The Game of Their Lives, in which he brought the surviving members of the 1966 team back to North East England.
