The world's first hotel made from rubbish has opened in Rome.

Helena Christensen was the first official guest of the hotel

The walls are constructed of masses of debris that are found on the beaches of Europe.

The hotel is part of a publicity campaign by the environmental group, Save The Beach, to draw attention to the problem of pollution on the coastline.

Europe Today asked supermodel turned campaigner Helena Christensen what it was like to stay inside.
