New York chef makes breastmilk cheese

Cheese that Daniel Angerer made from his wife's breast milk

Daniel Angerer does not serve this at his own restaurant

A New York chef has been making cheese dishes from his wife's breastmilk.

Daniel Angerer, head chef and owner of Klee restaurant in Manhattan, came up with the idea a few months ago after his wife gave birth and she began freezing her excess milk.

Some news reports say Chef Angerer serves the cheese dishes in his own restaurant but he told the BBC he was not allowed to do so.

He explains to Newshour how he actually makes this cheese and food critic Raymond Sokolov gives his verdict on the finished product.
