The leading British fashion designer Alexander McQueen has been found dead at his home in London at the age of 40.
Having begun his career at the age of 16 on the traditional Saville Row, where he designed suits for the likes of Mikhail Gorbachev and Prince Charles, he went on to become a cutting edge designer, with his own label.
The BBC's James Coomarasamy spoke to Alexandra Shulman, the Editor of Vogue UK in London and the British fashion designer Zandra Rhodes in San Diego.
